Over the past twenty years, AKKA has evolved into a platform that connects tens of thousands of Kannadigas in the Americas through various Kannada Kootas and one that continues to strengthen the bond between this diaspora and people of Karnataka to promote cultural, business and social initiatives.
ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟಗಳ ಆಗರ (ಅಕ್ಕ) ಪ್ರತಿ ೨ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವ ‘ಅಕ್ಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ’ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಉದ್ಯಾನ ರಾಜ್ಯವೆನಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯೂ ಜೆರ್ಸಿಯ ‘ಅಟ್ಲಾಂಟಿಕ್ ಸಿಟಿ’ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ೨,೩ ಹಾಗೂ ೪ ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಲದ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ‘ಅಕ್ಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ’ದ ೯ ನೆಯ ಆವೃತ್ತಿ..
