Tournament Rules:

- 2-Person Team Formation: All entries will be pooled into 2 groups. One group with low handicap and other group with high handicap. The cut-off handicap for these 2 groups will be determined prior to the tournament. 2-person Teams will be formed by randomly drawing one golfer from each group. If any team(s) ends up with strong golfers, the AKKA Golf Committee will use the best available knowledge about the golfers and reassign golfers to make sure that the all teams have an equal opportunity to do well in the tournament. Family members cannot be in the same group.
- A 2-person scramble means that both team members tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and both players play their second shots from that spot. The better of the second shots is determined, then both play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.
- To speed up the play, the maximum score a team can have for any hole is a Double Bogey.
- Tie: In the case of a tie for the overall team score (winner or runner-up), the committee will compare the score card of the teams that have tied starting with the hole with the highest handicap moving to the hole with the lowest handicap, continuing until one team has the lowest score on a hole.
- These rules are subject to change prior to the start of the tournament. The AKKA Golf Committee reserves the rights to resolve any dispute and the committee’s decision is final.
