Deepak Nath, Ph.D. is President, Abbott Vascular. He was appointed to this role in April 2015.

He joined Abbott in 2007 and since then has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility based in the US and Europe.  Most recently, he served as President, Abbott Molecular.

Before joining Abbott, he held leadership roles at Amgen and worked as consultant at McKinsey & Company.  He began his career as a scientist in the computational physics group at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Deepak earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in Theoretical Mechanics (Mechanical Engineering), all from the University of California, Berkeley.
