Please be advised that the Invitation letters for travel visa will take the AKKA2016 Convention Committee 7-days to process.
How to Request a Visa Invitation Letter:
Regular Registrants
Please follow the below process for obtaining a Travel Visa Invite letter from the AKKA Travelvisa2016 team and apply for the Visa
1) Please register for AKKAWKC2016 at the https://akkaonline.org/2016/ Registration Page.
2) Please send a mail to travelvisa2016@akkaonline.com along with following details
- AKKA2016 Convention Registration Receipt
- Passport copy clearly showing name and address
- Copy of Driver License and/or AADHAAR Card.
- Your email and contact phone number.
3) The AKKA Travelvisa2016 team will email you the invite letter.
4) Please apply for a B1/ Visitor Visa, Instructions for the same can be found at Chennai US Consulate
Artists/ Dignitaries
Please follow the below process for obtaining a Travel Visa Invite letter from the AKKA Travelvisa2016 team and apply for the Visa
- Please contact the AKKA2016 Chiar/representative from the Program/Business/Spiritual/ etc respective committees you are part of along with following documents
- Passport copy clearly showing name and address
- Copy of Driver License and/or AADHAAR Card.
- Your email and contact phone number.
- The AKKA Travelvisa2016 team will email you the invite letter.
- Please apply for a B1/ Visitor Visa, Instructions for the same can be found at Chennai US Consulate
Important information regarding Visa Invitation Letters (please read):
- Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.
- If you are performing, include the details of the performance or if you are exhibiting, please indicate so in your request.
- Please note that each individual requesting an invitation letter must send out a separate form.
- All letters will be sent in PDF form to the email address provided. If a paper letter is required, please respond to the email. Requested paper letters will be sent through airmail/Fedex/UPS for a nominal fees. This option may take a few weeks to arrive.
- AKKA2016 Convention Committee reserves the right to request further information regarding the attendee to ensure the validity of requests..
- AKKA2016 Convention Committee is unable to contact U.S. Embassies in support of an individual attempting to gain entry to attend a convention.
- Visitor visa decisions are sole discretion of US Consulate General’s Office and AKKA 2016 Convention committee is in anyway NOT responsible for visa decisions made.
