Senior Director & Business Development, NTT Communications
Umesh is currently with NTT Communications as Senior Director, Business Development. Umesh has more than 14 years of experience in various IT leadership positions in the area of business development, sales, marketing, service, solution design and IT operations. Umesh has consistently demonstrated success selling technology driven solutions and services to international and domestic enterprise customers. Umesh’s professional career includes working in a multi-culture, multi-language and strong global/international team environments within multiple industry segments.
As Senior Director of business development, Umesh is responsible for the identification, and qualification of large outsourcing opportunities through sourcing advisory and Information Communication Technology (ICT) channel. Umesh manages and leads in the creation, development and qualification of the deal pipeline for NTT Communications by working closely with world’s leading sourcing advisors and analysts.
Umesh also works with other small ICT key partner channels like to develop GTM strategies and drive yearly order entry fulfillment. In his previous assignment, as a Director of Business Development, Umesh was instrumental in building a strong startegic alliances partnership with major technology providers, developed a strong pipeline, created brand awarness and positioned T-Systems as a niche ICT provider. At T-Systems, Umesh was key in winning multiple major new logos and accounts for T-Systems.
He has Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology, Masters of Business Administration degree with International Business major from Oakland University, Michigan and Executive Leadership training from Harvard Law School.
