His Holiness Kayaka Yogi Sri Shanthaveera Mahaswamiji was given sansai deekashi by HH Jagadguru Sri Shivamurthi Murgarajendra Mahaswamiji of Murga Mata, Chitradurga, Karnataka at a young age of 16 years. Swamiji is the founder of Sri Jagadguru Akila Kunchitiga Maha Samsthana Matha, established in 1996 at Hosadurga, Chitradurga District, Karnataka.

Swamiji created a revolution in farming by using drip irrigation to cultivate Pomegranate, Coconut, fruits and vegetables in barren land. Therefore encouraging about 5000+ farmers in the surrounding areas to start drip irrigation, hence finding a solution to long time water problem in the area. Swamiji has also established several Educational Institutes where students are given free education along with free hostile facilities also.
