Vilas is a self taught artist basically from Ujire, Karnataka. He started painting at the age of 3 and after working as a HR professional for 6 years quit his lucrative corporate job in 2011 to pursue his passion for art. Finalist of India’s Got Talent season 3 and winner of ‘EC live quotient Most Innovative Act Award’ 2012, he is currently one of the most sought after speed painting artist in the world. His performances on Asia’s Got Talent on AXN and Got Talent World Stage Live has caught attention of millions of art lovers across the world. He has performed at some of the biggest events in India and 23 other countries.
His art works have been much appreciated by many great personalities like Football Legend Pele, Ex president of India Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam, Sachin Tendulkar, AR Rahman, French Movie Director Betrand Tavernier, Legendary music producer David Foster, Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton, ISRO Chairman Prof Radhakrishnan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Bacchan, Saina Nehwal, Mary Kom and many more!
He responds to the current happenings around the world by his beautiful art works that give out a message of peace and harmony in the world. He actively participates in various fund raising events and till date has raised 1 Million USD for charity by auctioning his live art works.
