The President and Secretary will be part of all the committees. In addition to AKKA Core responsibilities, all the BOD members will be participating in one or more convention committees as AKKA representatives.

Focus on providing content that is Kannadigas in US oriented, and public information, and not much personnel related. Works closely with publicity chair to leverage content about registration

Vinod Gowda	Co-Chair	Manages and owns AKKA2024 website content. Works closely with the publicity committee to stay consistent with convention information. Works with registration, Kannada Koota coordination committee to show interesting data about road to convention.

Mani Sreenivas	Chair	Handles all outward facing publicity content (website, media) information. Works with AKKA convener to gather requirements and creates content for publicity. Also arranges and co-ordinates media interviews and promotes AKKA core values. Owns providing press related communication to AKKA President and Secretary who are responsible to release any press information. All communications shall be reviewed by the President and Secretary and/or a delegate. Parallel to the publicity team, Social Media team, leverages all content from website and publicity team, to push on FaceBook, Instagram, What’s app groups and Twitter. Focus on reaching out to young Kannadigas.

Convention Committee

Daya Adapa	Chair	Team up with fellow conveners, understand the overall plan, risks and run a successful, zero deficit convention. Recruit talented individuals who have expertise with no bias or favoring any particular individual. Take a neutral approach to benefit all attendees. Ensures all budgets and guidelines are properly followed by all committee chairs. The primary goal is to make a one of a kind convention.
