Be the 2008 AKKA Idol at the World Kannada Seminar

Here’s how:

1. Contact your local Kannada Koota for more details (click here for a list of Kannada Kootas and their phone numbers)
   
2. List your name for the preliminary competition with your local Kannada Koota
   
3. Two successful participants from each Kannada Koota preliminary round will participate in the semi-finals to be held on the morning of August 30 Th 2008 – of which FIVE FINALISTS will be chosen.
   
4. We strongly encourage to sing with karaoke tracks and to bring your own karaoke CD tracks.
   
5. All the successful participants from the local kannada kootas participating in semifinals must have been registered to attend WKC 2008.
   
6. The Five finalists will perform live on the stage that same evening.
   
7. The winner to be crowned AKKA IDOL 2008 will be selected through voting by the audience assisted by the judges.
   
8. AKKA IDOL 2008 will have the pride of performing with Shri C. Ashwath and Gurukiran’s live musical troupe.
