The Pageant is open to all NRIs who are registered attendees for AKKA 2024 in Richmond Virginia (Aug 30 – Sep 1 2024)

 There will be two AKKA Pageant categories for women: 

1. Mrs AKKA (25+ Years  and married/widowed/divorced/separated)
2. Miss AKKA (16-25 years and unmarried) 

Note: 

• If you are under 25 and married – currently or in the past – please choose Mrs AKKA category
• If you are above 25 and not married – currently or in the past – please choose Mrs AKKA category

The pageant will consist of Introduction, Walk, Talent and Question & Answer rounds. 

The pageant consists of the following rounds and will be held at the convention. 

Introduction (Kannada language preferred + extra points for using Kannada)

• A 45 second intro about you and why you plan to participate in the Pageant.

Walk

• Indian and/or Western Attire.

Talent (Kannada language preferred + extra points for using Kannada)

• Maximum 2-min (120-sec) talent time where each contestant can showcase their talent.

Question & Answer Round

• The top finalists from each category will also participate in the Q&A round.  
• For each category, based on the judges’ decision, there will be a winner, first runner-up and second runner-up.

In addition, there will be multiple titles that will be awarded to the top finalists – Mrs/Miss. Talented, Mrs/Miss. Photogenic, Mrs/Miss. Beautiful Smile, Mrs/Miss. Catwalk, Mrs/Miss. Best Dressed, Mrs/Miss. Confidence. There will also be an online voting for the Mrs/Miss. Popular Award.

All entries must be received by July 14th, 2024. Late entries will not be accepted.
