೧೨ನೆಯ ಅಕ್ಕ ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವು ವರ್ಜೀನಿಯಾ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಿಚ್ಮಂಡ್ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೩೦, ೩೧ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ೧ನೆಯ ತಾರೀಖುಗಳಂದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸುಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಸ್ಮರಣ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸ್ಮರಣ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ೨೦೨೪ರ ಸಾಲಿನ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಸವಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಾಯ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ.

ಅಕ್ಕ ೨೦೨೪ರ ಥೀಮ್ ಆಗಿ “ವೈಭವ – ವೈವಿಧ್ಯ – ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯ” ಎಂಬುದು ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಒಮ್ಮತವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸ್ಮರಣ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯ ತಂಡದವರಾದ ನಾವು, NRI ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಂದ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಕೆಲಸವೂ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದರೆ ಆ ಕೆಲಸವೂ ನಿಯಮಬದ್ದವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಇರುವ ಅರಿವು. ಸ್ಮರಣ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಆ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಇಂತಿವೆ:

ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳು:

• ಕನ್ನಡದ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಕವನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಹ, ನುಡಿ, Google input tools ಅಥವಾ ಇತರ ಸಮರಸ format ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು.
• ನಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿರುವ ಬರಹಗಳು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ಪುಸ್ತಕ, ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ, ಅಥವಾ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿರಬಾರದು.
• ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಥೀಮ್ ಹೀಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ: “ವೈಭವ – ವೈವಿಧ್ಯ – ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯ”. ನೀವು ಬರೆಯಲಿರುವ ಲೇಖನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕವನಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮೂದಿಸಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮೂರು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಳಿತು.
• ಕಿರಿಯರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಲೇಖನಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಒಳಿತು ಆದರೆ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. (Age Group – upto 20 years).
• ಕಿರಿಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿರಿಯರಿಂದ Artwork ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಒಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಯಂರಚಿತ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಳುಹಿಸಬಹುದು.
• ಕಿರಿಯರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕವನಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೂ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕವನಗಳು ಗರಿಷ್ಟ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು (limit 20 lines) ಸಾಲುಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರವಿರಲಿ.
• ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನುMS-WORD ನಲ್ಲೇ ನಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಲೇಖನದ ಗರಿಷ್ಟ ಮಿತಿ 750 ಪದಗಳು.
• ಸ್ವೀಕೃತವಾದ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ಅಂತಿಮ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವು ಸ್ಮರಣಸಂಚಿಕೆ ತಂಡವರದ್ದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
• ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಮೈಲ್ ಐಡಿ, ನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಹಿತ ವಿಳಾಸದೊಂದಿಗೆ High Resolution ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
• ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಾಂಕ : June 1^st, 2024.
• ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮೂದಿಸಿರುವ ಈಮೈಲ್ ಐಡಿ’ಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ: souvenir@akkaonline.org

The event will be held on Aug 30^th, Aug 31^st, and Sep 1^st 2024, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, Richmond, Virginia.

We invite all the NRI Kannadigas to showcase your talent through articles that will be published in the AKKA Souvenir.  The AKKA Souvenir theme for 2024 is “VAIBHAVA – VAIVIDHYA – VAISHISHTYA”.

Submission Guidelines: 

• Articles and Poems in Kannada should be typed using Baraha, Nudi, Google Input Tools or any other compatible format.
• Write-ups must be Original. It should NOT have been published before this event in any newspapers, magazines, social media or any other media.
• Write-ups must be submitted in KANNADA and align with one or all the words in the theme.
• Write-ups in English will be accepted for the Youth Section only (up to 20 years).
• Write-ups must be submitted in Word Format and the limit is up to 750 words maximum.
• We are inviting the youth to participate in the Kannada Poem writing competition. The limit is up to 20 lines only.
• We are also inviting the creative youth mind to showcase their Artwork.
• Please include your photo in JPEG (High Resolution) along with your Name, Email ID, City, State. and Country.
• The Souvenir Committee will thoroughly review articles and may contact the authors for any clarifications.
• Approval of Write-ups is solely by the Souvenir Committee.
• Last Date to Submit the Write-ups :June 1^st 2024.
