Eligibility
- Open to participants globally
- Short films must primarily be in Kannada
- Independent filmmakers, students, professionals, and first-time creators are all welcome
- AKKA Volunteers & Working Committee Members are eligible to participate
Registration & Submission Guidelines
- Participants must complete the AKKA Short Film Festival Registration Form
- Registration Fee: $50 per submission
- Registrations open from May 20, 2026 and close on June 30, 2026
- Films must be submitted via online link (YouTube/Vimeo/Google Drive)

Judging Criteria

Awards & Recognition
Presented during the AKKA 2026 Convention.
Note: Award winners who are not physically present at the convention must pay the applicable shipping charges in advance to receive their trophies. If payment is not completed within the communicated timeline and no representative is available to receive the award in person, the trophy may be forfeited.
